Feline Herpesvirus Antigen Rapid Test Kit
Feline herpesvirus mainly enters the body through eye and nasal secretions and saliva, and then causes lytic infection of the nasal mucosal epithelial cells, which is transmitted to the conjunctiva, throat, trachea, bronchus and bronchiole. Specific symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, excessive discharge from the eyes, conjunctivitis, keratitis and stomatitis. This reagent is used to detect feline herpesvirus (FHV) antigen in cat feces, and can be used for screening and auxiliary diagnosis of feline herpesvirus infection.
【Mechanism of Reaction】
Feline herpes virus (FHV) antigen rapid detection kit was used to qualitatively detect feline herpes virus (FHV) in cat feces by colloidal gold immunochromatography. The cat herpes antibody is coated on the nitrocellulose membrane. If the sample contains cat herpes virus, the virus will bind to the colloidal gold coated cat herpes monoclonal antibody on the gold label mat to form an antibody-antigen complex. When this complex was chromatographed to the detection line of the membrane (T line), it was combined with another feline herpes monoclonal antibody to form an “antibody- antigen-antibody” sandwich complex and gradually agglutinated into a visible T line. The unconjugated colloidal gold antibody was chromatographed to the T line and was captured by the quality control line (C line) and formed a visible C line. The test results were displayed through the C line and T line. If the sample contains feline herpes virus, the T line shows a red band. If the sample does not contain feline herpes virus, the T line does not show a red band. The C line shows a red color band regardless of whether the sample contains feline herpes virus.
